The steep gradient of the lot also played a crucial role in its overall form as the street façade offers complete privacy even as the rear opens up towards the green scenery outside. Concrete and glass largely shape the residence with composite timber adding to its elegance.
This large cottage mixes the stone and the wood creating a beautiful rustic piece within the natural scenery. The stone chimney is the most eye-catching element that truly sets the tone for the cottage’s aged presence. A charming cottage with a big deck and big windows is a wonderful getaway place for anyone who loves to have a great view of the nature even from the comfort of the indoors.
An open and cheerful home offers the perfect platform from which you can take in the many sights and sounds play out in the landscape it sits in. It is barely a surprise then that Gottsmann Architects opted for a similar design as they shaped the gorgeous and light-filled that overlooks an adjacent Golf Course and Lake.
One can instantly notice how the original structure was composed of a variety of materials that include wood stone and corrugated iron and tile. Giving another layer of textural intrigue to this confluence of contrasting materials is glass!
