The top cantilevered level is dedicated exclusively to private spaces even as a large deck brings the outdoors inside on the lower level. A double-height void acts as the central fulcrum of the home that brings in even more ventilation and ushers in a sense of spaciousness.
It is the ground floor that contains the main bedrooms which stretch into the beautifully curated gardens and walkways outside. The natural pool and the massive man-made lagoon help cool the building further cutting back on its energy needs even while providing the perfect backdrop for evenings that range from the intimate and romantic to those with unending parties.
But that is not the only space that was altered to meet the growing demands of an urban family. The more rigid kitchen of the house with a counterproductive U-shaped kitchen layout was replaced by a new kitchen where a smart worktop and ergonomic island combine modern minimalism with industrial overtones.
On the inside it is white along with light wooden tones that shape the living area along with the kitchen and dining room that flow into the central courtyard. One the other side of the lovely courtyard sits the bedroom that is connected with the living area through a stone pathway. The presence of the central courtyard adds to the cheerful and light-filled ambiance of the interior with pendants in bright orange making their snazzy presence felt.
